Legendary bloodline scam

I see many advertising about LEGENDARY central asain shepherds, who re mostly oversized dog of shady origin. Truly legendary dogs are working old lines who were known for exceptional work at their land and producing generations of wonderful examples of breed. legendary not mean just fighting dogs or dogs who re over 200 lbs:)...its misused word to sell some mixed breeds!

This is an interesting article with an interview to a person who created new breed in Chelyabinsk(city in Russia),article dated 2008.The title of it : Person from Chelyabinsk created new kind of Caucasian dog. Then article describe how he mixed dif kinds of dogs and breeds,co(caucasian dogs) and and cas(central asians) and called this result as Grigorievs volkodaws(Grigoriev is his family name)...since none want to buy dogs with no papers and no official recognition ,he (using his connections with government levels) got his dog a pedigree as central asian. Right now grandkids of this so call cas are in new york area,Midwest(Chicago area) and more places, sold and bred as CAS.The dog name from artickle is Sultan Zherimbet is Nikolskoy roshi. he never been a Central asian shepherd dog. so if you see Sultan name as legendary CAS,it scam..and pups can be considered as pure Central asians as same as so-called pitbull Hulk in USA considered a pure pitbull....while he has not pit dogs in his pedigree on mom n dad sides

here this dog in database-mentioned as CAS-he can be compared to pitbull Hulk...but even with less percentage of CAS blood in him...

The head of a three-year Caucasian wolfhound named Sultan the size of a TV set. one bite with such teeth and result is a broken wolf's back.

Sultan does not look especially at people. To strangers does not fit at all. To what it is to him. Yes, they-people themselves shun him! But on those who feed him and walks, the dog looks condescending: they say, come, I authorize. And only his host, Sergei Grigoriev, meets in a special way. Twists his tail like a helicopter propeller.

By the spacious yard where the record holder lives, two fluffy madness-two teenage puppies-rush to and fro. The dog does not drive away the fry, only grumbles at them kindly.

Wherever the Sultan appeared, his head would be twisted: well, the dog!

"You can, of course, even feed him up to 120 kilos of it," Grigoriev says. "But then the speed of reaction will disappear." And now he is in great shape, with ease in the test sparring defeats the strongest opponents. His first victory in dog fight - the title of champion of the Urals - Sultan took immediately and do not intend to give: not yet in the country of the same huge and strong "Caucasians."

The breeding of the Central Asian sheep-dogs, known as wolfhounds, Sergey did not even think to do. he says:Eight years ago I bought a puppy for myself. So brave dogs became the main passion of his life. Studying the ancient breed, Grigoryev traveled all over the Caucasus, met with local famous breeders and experts.

"Since time immemorial, wolfhounds have lived side by side with man, and no one is better guarding the flocks of sheep, like these dogs," he says. - Gray predators they feel for a mile, fearlessly rush to the wolves and tear. Without "Caucasians" in the mountains, sheep breeding is the oldest occupation of local people.

Sergei shoveled tons of special literature, collected and wrote down the opinions of recognized specialists on the possibilities of breeding. Experimented, crossing, for example, a lean tall bitch and a heavy powerful male. The mother's lightness and father's strength are transmitted to the offspring. And puppies always work out even better than parents.

There was even such an expression: "Grigorievsky type of breed". In just eight years, the Chelyabinsk Grigoriev, far from the foothills of the Caucasus, has excelled in improving the breed. Now he does not buy puppies from aborigen folks - they come to the South Urals and admire the Grigoriev dogs. And he have more than 30 dogs.

A large dog needs space: a booth with a fragrant hay inside, a snow creaking in the frost under the paws, sharp smells of smoke and pine branches exhilarating the wet nose. "Caucasians" Grigoriev now live on private farmsteads of his friends and in his home in the Nagaibag district. But over time, he will have a large nursery, where there is enough space for all his favorites.

Sergei Grigoriev bought the first puppy only eight years ago. And today the dog breeders already have such an expression: "Grigorievsky type of breed".
